See Stunning Hawaii Scenery By Taking The Road To Hana

By Patricia Harris

The seventy-mile stretch known as the Hana pathway is quite a sight to behold. It has everything you would want to see while you were on a sightseeing trip. From spectacular landscapes to taro patches and botanical gardens, you will find that the road to Hana is quite a wonder. The available scenery has led to it being named one of the best pathways in the world.

For a smooth ride, it is recommended that you consider starting early. Depending on when you intend to travel, this path can at times be pretty congested. Starting early is the surest way to make sure that you will not get stuck behind some slow-pokes in certain sections of your journey.

What makes it worse is the fact that certain sections along this motorway only have room for one or two cars. It, therefore, makes sense to begin your journey early if you do not want to miss out on any aspect of this wonderful trip. You can get started by leaving West by six in the morning. At this hour, you get to beat most traffic, and you just might get an opportunity to squeeze in more sights.

If you have ever been on a road trip before, then you realize the importance of making sure that you have all the supplies you will need for that trip. For this particular trip, you should note that you will come across very few stopping points where you can get something decent to bite or drink. Confirming that you are fully loaded on supplies is a great way to keep your hunger at bay while on the motorway.

Do not rush to pick your spots. Yes, it is true that this pathway is stunning. But this does not mean that you will actually get an opportunity or the time to view each waterfall up close. Attempting to stop at all the attractions you encounter will only act to stress you out. It is not possible to jam all these attractions in a one-day trip.

Spots you should not miss out on visiting will include the Hamoa Beach and Wailua Falls. New visitors may have a hard time making a decision on what to see and what not to see. For such people, they should ensure that they get their hands on the latest guidebooks.

In addition to being filled with stunning views, the road is also quite busy. You can, therefore expect to come across locals using the same motorway to head to various destinations. As such, be respectful and allow them to drive past you if you notice that they are not in the least bit interested in sightseeing.

Try and stay away from private properties. There are a number of smartphone applications and guidebooks that can reveal to you some secret spots that are only known to locals. Considering that all these spots are located in private property, it would be a good idea to make sure that you do not trespass during your sightseeing trip.
