Relaxing Travel Getaway With Wine Tour Atlanta GA

By Scott Barnes

Preparing to travel is an almost insurmountable task sometimes. The stress of packing, flying, and traveling takes away the joy of the travel sometimes. Worse are the crowds in popular travel spots. So why not choose a place off the beaten path, where you can really kick back as Wine Tour Atlanta GA?

The best choice you can make is to find places that are not on the tourist radar yet. Yes, they can be a little more difficult to get to, but the lack of noisy tourists and the abundance of peace and quiet will make it all worth it. For the ultimate chill-out spot, you can choose hidden beaches, heavenly hikes, or cultural curiosities. These are found the world over, so it is just a matter of where you want to go really.

When it comes to the sea, people might find that Thailand and Mexico are common suggestions for exotic beach destinations. However, there are a few that are not commonly known. Try Saint. Eustatius in the Caribbean, near St. Barths, but far less peopled. Another undiscovered treasure is Manorca in Peru. The Banana Surfing is wonderful. The Andamans is another spectacular beach spot. It offers all the attractions of scuba diving, snorkeling, water skiing and surfing, without the truckloads of western tourists.

If you are planning a romantic trip, Italy and France are overdone and generally bubbling over with tourists. If you are heading to Europe, why not consider Copenhagen, Denmark? It is an under-visited canal city with shopping, sightseeing, and gourmet food galore. When you want to go closer to home, try Paws Up, Montana. It has some lovely resorts which are not packed with people, and the countryside splendor can be soaked in within the silence of working cattle farms as opposed to maddening crowds. If wine is your thing, forget Napa Valley. Try the little-known town of Kelowna in British Columbia. It has world famous wines, and you get to romance your loved one with hot air balloon rides, or moonlight snowshoeing.

If Africa is calling your name, there are a few spots that you can visit in peace. The Namib Desert is the oldest desert in the world and it abounds with game. It is also home to the unique desert-adapted elephant and boasts some heavenly retreats. Africas beaches are often packed, but the lesser known Chamarel in Mauritius is a must see. Not only can you feast your eyes on a sea of violet, blue, green, and brown sand, but you get to enjoy the splendor of the real Indian Ocean too. All from the privacy of your own villa.

Activity may be more your thing on a holiday. Then you cannot beat a great hike. Try the 2000-mile stretch that is the Araroa Trail in New Zealand. You will experience the finest mountain, coastal, bush, and jungle environments the country has to offer. You could take a day trip up Franconia Ridge in New Hampshire. It is a 9-mile trek and has quite a few people who do it, but these White Mountains and their gorgeous alpine flora are best seen close up for complete mind-body rejuvenation.

There are a few other secret places to go worth mentioning. If a water symphony is what you want to see, then try Plitvice Lakes in Croatia. They will surely wet your appetite for more! Alternatively, for a colorful, cultural experience, try Samarkand in Uzbekistan. Rich in Salt Trade Route history, it has dazzling mosques and is now on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The plus point? They are largely tourist-free.

No matter which experience you are craving for your escape, you want to know you can lie back and de-stress in the peace of your chosen destination. So avoid the hyped-up places, and try something that most people would not recommend. It is probably the most recommendable choice for peaceful, mesmerizing vacations.
